The AEX15/RP is ideal for those needing a powerful light for general use. For most applications 1000 lumens is more than enough to illuminate your target and is probably much more than you are used to. The burner has been refocused in the reflector for a more collimated beam, capable of projecting the light almost as far as it's big brother the AEX25. Best of all, all Xenide accessories fit the AEX15/RP so it can be upgraded as needed.
