The M3X Tactical Illuminator was designed and built for combat deployment with U.S. Special Operations personnel. Available in either a pistol or long gun configuration, and now equipped with a high-performance LED, the M3X LED has a run time of 120 minutes and provides 150 lumens giving operators greater total darkness domination. The built-in Shock Suppression System has been extensively tested and has survived a 44,000 round torture test.
The M3X and M6X feature interchangeable backplates.
For pistols an ambidextrous rocker switch offers the operator the ability to activate in the Momentary On or Constant On mode.
The long gun backplate utilizes a 3 position rotary switch for Off, Momentary On and Constant On that is used in conjunction with a straight cord touch-pad remote. For pump-action shotguns an optional curly cord remote is available.
There are 3 options for mounting the M3X. The patented Slide-Lock® system allows for instant tool-free mounting and removal. The Universal Slide-Lock® mount fits most pistols, while the 1913 Slide-Lock® mount is designed specifically for the true M1913 Mil-Spec Picatinny rail. The Rail-Grabber™ mount fits most rail configurations whether for a pistol, rifle or shotgun.
