Using a Liberator® Tactical Light means being able to do all the things you need to do – shooting, gun handling, control tactics, handcuffing – without having to sacrifice the usefulness of your hands.
IT’S TACTICAL.
Most “tactical flashlights” are based on the same design that’s been around for over a century. Sure, these traditional flashlights can be made smaller and brighter, but every one of those lights come with the same big limitation: you have to hold it in your hand to use it.
Until now. The Liberator® Tactical Light removes that limitation. That’s because they started with a blank sheet of paper and created a light from the ground up, with the intuitive operation, superior ergonomics and the increased safety of the tactical professional in mind. The result is an intuitive lighting tool that works “with you,” not “against you” – Liberator® is built to fit you first.
IT’S PRACTICAL.
Because the Liberator® Tactical Light leaves both hands free, it allows you to do all the things you’d do with a standard flashlight, without having to “give up” a hand to hold the light. You get the best of both worlds – full use of both hands and maximized use of your light.
The Liberator® Tactical Light is also a safer alternative to weapon mounted lights for both handguns and long guns. While a weapon light is a sound choice for specific, extremely tactical situations, it’s also limited by the necessity of having to point that weapon to gain illumination.
The Liberator® Tactical Light gives you the benefit of joining your light and weapon when it’s necessary – and full separation of light and gun once the threat has passed. This allows you to conduct searches, do administrative work and perform other tasks more safely and effectively than with a traditional flashlight, without having to use your weapon as a “handle” for your light.
To be a First-Light, a light must meet three criteria:
- HANDS-FREE: So you don't have to hold your flashlight to get the light you need.
- HANDS-DIRECTED: So you can easily direct light where you want it.
- HANDS-ENABLING: So you can use your hands as you normally would in broad daylight.
