Rescue XL 5 mode LED Flashlight

The Rescue XL is an awesomely bright five mode tactical flashlight using the latest CREE XM-L LED. Modes are pre-selected by rotating a ring in the tail cap switch.

With the cap rotated fully counter-clockwise, the switch is locked off to guard against accidental activation. Rotating the ring clockwise first selects a dimming mode, from 5% to 85% brightness. Holding switch down ramps brightness to full, indicated by a double flash. Holding the switch down again ramps brightness to low, indicated by another double flash. The circuitry remembers the last brightness setting and returns to that setting when re-activated. The next rotation selection is firefly mode (1 lumen), then momentary strobe and momentary full on. At full output, the Rescue XL generates 750 lumens in a turbo mode for one minute, switching to 660 lumens after that.

Materials are aircraft grade aluminum with Type III black anodizing with a stainless steel strike bezel. Generous knurling on the flashlight body grips solidly in the hand. An IPX-8 waterproof rating means the Rescue XL can be submerged up to 5 feet for thirty minutes without damage. Shock damping front and rear make it ideal for weapon mounting.

A Turbo Head with a larger reflector for longer range illumination is available as an accessory. Flashlight operates with either two CR-123 type batteries, or a single rechargeable 18650 Li-ion battery. Two CR-123 batteries, a belt pouch, lanyard and a removable clip are included. A plastic sizing tube in also included for use with CR-123 batteries.
