About Tactical LEDs LLC

Tactical LEDs LLC was formed in 2007 from an idea created by two police officers in south eastern Pennsylvania. Since the late 1990's LED technology has been advancing and it has finally found it's way into the flashlights we use everyday at home and at work. Today, LEDs are everywhere; there are very few vehicles produced anymore that do not use LED technology somewhere on the vehicle. LEDs are here to stay and in the near future, LEDs may well be the sole source of light we use everyday in our homes. We have recognized LED Technology is an important source of portable lighting for public servants.

As my partner and I searched for this new technology, we found very few retailers for the equipment. Every major retail store was carrying LED flashlights, but lighting was relegated to a department in a much larger store. Each store had a brand de'jour; that is, the brand they carried or the brand that made them the most money. The internet offered similar choices, but worse yet were the businesses that offered the equipment, but knew nothing about what they were selling, in fact, many never even saw the item you bought. We knew something was missing. Everyone needs a flashlight in the dark, but no one could tell us what the best light was for a particular situation, how it would work, how long it would burn, what type of batteries it took, what functions a light had; the list goes on and on.

At Tactical LEDs we are dedicated to bringing you the finest LED and HID lighting equipment in the world. We are real people with a real inventory. We stock each and every item we sell. If we do not have an item in stock, we will get it for you and tell you when you can expect delivery. We will not offer an item for sale that we have not touched, played with, carried in the street and tried to break before we offer it to you. We know what it is like to be in the cold at three in the morning and not have a working light. One of our suppliers says it best when he says his equipment is "Best of Breed!" Our mission is to provide you, our customers with equipment that is the best of the best. Stuff that will stand up to the rigors of public service.



What is your Shipping Policy?
Tactical LEDs LLC offers FREE Ground shipping to the United States on most orders over $49.99. Tactical LEDs also proudly offers FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping to all U.S. Military APO/FPO/DPO addresses on most orders over $49.99. For your convenience, most orders under $49.99 within the US are charged a flat $6.99 shipping fee for Ground service.
 
Based on your address our website will determine if your package will ship via USP Ground Service or USPS Parcel Post.  This allows us to provide Alaska, Hawaii and the US Territories the same service.

If you need your order sooner that ground service please feel free to select one of the methods that are offered when you check out.  Our website will determine the cost and methods available for you depending on your location.

If you are trying to select a shipping method and our site will not allow you to choose; it means we may not be permitted to ship the item you are looking at outside of the US or we may not provide service to your country at all.  Please feel free to send an email to customerservice@tacticalleds.com and we will be glad to assist you.

Our shipping fees are calculated based upon weight, distance and shipping method. In order to obtain your shipping cost, please add the desired item/s to your shopping cart and use the shipping estimator at the bottom of the shopping page.

Enter your zip code or country, select the level of service desired, and then click the 'Recalculate' button. You will be shown the shipping cost and order total. If you want pricing for another method simply select a different shipping method and click the 'Recalculate' button again.

Most orders ship in 1-2 business days and we will notify you if there will be any delay longer than 4 days.

We happily ship to PO Boxes, APO, and FPO addresses. When shipping to a PO Box, you must select USPS First Class, Priority, or Express Mail service. When shipping to an APO or FPO address, you must select either USPS First Class or Priority Mail only. Please remember to allow 1 business day for order processing. In-transit times are business days.

What is your Return Policy?

We will accept returns for defective items for 30 days from the time of purchase. You may choose from a refund minus shipping, a store credit for the value of the defective item or a replacement item. If the item is defective a replacement will be provided at no charge to you.

Items returned as a convenience; you just changed your mind, are fine; however there will be a 15% restocking fee deducted from your return credit or payment. Items returned for convenience must be in new or like new salable condition within thirty days of delivery to you. All items received at the time of purchase must be returned. (i.e. manuals, cases, chargers, rechargeable batteries, etc.) You will not be refunded for any items not returned. Disposable batteries are the exception, we expect you to use this stuff, so we plan for the batteries to be used.

After 30 days we will only accept returns for defective equipment and the manufacturer's warranty polices will be applied to the return. The warranties of all manufacturers we carry can be serviced through us. Please notify us at Returns Department of the need for service or return and we will respond promptly to get your light back in service.

If it is determined a defective item must be returned to us we require that you pay for the shipping to us. We will provide a refund or store credit once your item arrives at our facilities. We will cover the shipping to return an item to you.

To make a return simply send an email to Returns Department. Please include your order number and the reason for your return and we will respond within 24 hours. We will send an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to the email address you specify.

Simply box up your return, place the the RMA in the box and on the label and send it back to us. Once received at our facility we will process your return. At our discretion we will repair or replace defective items or provide you with a refund.

If you need to return an item, please send an email to returns@tacticalleds.com. Please include your order number when contacting us. We will respond to you with an email that contains the address for shipping your return and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)number. You MUST obtain an RMA before sending us your return. This number is the only reference we have to your shipment when it is returned to us; without it we will not be able to process your return.
